Now here’s someplace you won’t find any visitors dining at: Leeward Drive Inn. And it’s not because the place isn’t any good, but because it’s kind of off the beaten path.

Honolulu is filled with Japanese food, so if that’s your kind of thing, you’ll have no shortage of options. They range in price from expensive to cheap and excellent to awful. But Gazen Bar and Grill is both excellent and inexpensive.
Every town, state, or even nation has an iconic eating establishment. And in Hawaii, that establishment is Zippy’s – the restaurant of Hawaii.
As I’ve said previously, Hawaii, and Honolulu specifically, has many great sushi spots. And while Sushi ii is my favorite, Sushi Murayama is another one that I love.
