The Blue Mountains are about an hour train ride outside of Sydney and are marked as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The train arrived in the town of Katoomba, where we disembarked and made our way toward some of the sighs of the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately, the day was so foggy that we had almost no visibility in front of us, so we did not see many of the highly regarded landmarks in the area.
That didn’t prevent us from enjoying a long hike up and down the mountains, a nice lunch in Katoomba and an overall fun experience in the Blue Mountains. My only hope is that the next time I visit Australia there is much less fog.
In spite of the lack of visibility, we managed to take some fun photos. Here is our journey!
