I am back, while Jeff is busy teaching he has left me responsible for the blog. Naturally, I have not posted anything until recently asked by someone (begins with a J and ends with an eff), if I was ever going to write a post.
Hotel ratings on review sites like TripAdvisor are usually a pretty accurate depiction of what you can expect during your stay. Good ratings and it should live up to the hype (or succumb to inflated expectations). Poor ratings… and you better be receiving a great deal on your stay to make up for the inconvenience.
This is a delightful property. Not that I had reason to believe otherwise, of course. But with two nights at the Hotel Schloss Fuschl sandwiched in between stays at “sure thing” hotels – the Intercontinental Davos and the Intercontinental Berchtesgaden – I wasn’t sure what to expect.
