I spent the past two weeks in Minneapolis on business. While I was eager to take photos of the skyline upon arrival, that desire quickly died down as other commitments became more important. Here is the best (and pretty much only) picture I took during this trip, a photo of the Minneapolis Skyline from my hotel window (the 24th floor of the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis).
Work travel is rarely glamorous. I fall into some really bad habits (no exercise, living off caffeine, eating unhealthy, etc.). All of that intensity gave me a cold by the time I landed in San Francisco. Thanks for nothing, Twin Cities. Just kidding.
Since the Twin Cities is my hometown, I did get the opportunity to see family and friends. If it weren’t for the abysmal weather in the state, I might still live there. But with this cold and the unhealthy lifestyle, I am attempted to stay away in the short term. Of course I will be back in June, so that won’t last long. I just hope the weather participates.
Hopefully I will have the energy to post more once I kick this cold. Thanks for hanging in there in the meantime!
Great quality on the picture. I’ve been meaning to ask what camera you use?
Thanks Ryan – I use the Sony A7R Camera. It is a little on the expensive side, but takes amazing full-frame pictures. This one I had to combine several shots to get the lighting right (bright ballpark, darker buildings).
Great :)
