Most of the photos that I take are landscapes. Part of it is because I feel uncomfortable taking street-shots, part of it is that people move around too much, and part of it is that I often find myself outside of the city when traveling.
On my current trip in Europe I am attempting more street shots using HDR photography techniques. It creates a unique challenge, because I have to keep a steady hand through 3 exposures, and I have to hope that people move only modestly as well.
This photo is imperfect, as you can see ghosts of people in the street. But I actually like it that way. It shows the busy nature of the streets.
Salzburg is a lovely city, although it’s a little colder than we expected right now. We plan to come back again during a warmer season.
