El Calafate

During our three month stay in Argentina, we went to El Calafate for a long weekend.

El Calafate is small town on the edge of southern Patagonia. The town is mainly known as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. If you venture down to this area, then a glacier hike is a must.

We considered heading down to the end of the world, Ushuaia, Argentina, but we just plain ran out of time. Reach out to us if you are considering Patagonia, we can certainly give you some pointers.
