We spent four nights at Capella Taipei in July 2026 for a friend's wedding, and the hotel was one of the things we were most excited about for the whole trip. It didn't disappoint. The small touches are what we remember, like the van ride from the airport, the best transfer we've ever had, and the night Spain played in the World Cup final, when they showed up at our door with a soccer ball and Spain gear. Away from the hotel we took a food tour out to Keelung to make xiao long bao with a man whose family has made them for generations, and ended up at the Taiwanese baseball all-star game at the Taipei Dome.
