San Francisco City Hall Pays Tribute to the Golden State Warriors

San Francisco City Hall Warriors Colors

While I consider myself a Timberwolves fan, I was definitely a fan of the Golden State Warriors as they rolled through the NBA playoffs and won the NBA championship last night.

The last time my hometown teams (Minnesota) won a world championship, I was 10 years old. Since moving to the Bay Area last July, the city has won two championships. I love the energy!

Last night I took this photo outside of my window immediately after the Warriors won the championship. While I was expecting fireworks, there were none in San Francisco (maybe Oakland, but Karl the Fog blocked that view). I guess we will just have to settle for San Francisco city hall lit up in blue and yellow.

Great season, Warriors!

This is an incredible picture. I live in Downtown Oakland and I can tell you it was absolutely crazy last night.

I can imagine! Not sure if SF was crazy or not, but seemed tame compared to the Giants celebrations :)
