This past Valentine’s Day, you know, the last normal holiday we had eons ago, I decided to have a non-traditional Valentine’s dinner at a Japanese restaurant. So, I made us reservations at Honolulu’s Izakaya Uosan.
On our last full day in the PNW, we had about half the day available to explore more. So, after checking into our hotel, we booked it back into the city and started by grabbing some lunch at Etta’s by Tom Douglas.
Mrs. Island Miler loves sushi. So last November, I took her to Honolulu’s Akira Japanese restaurant for her birthday, as they feature quite a few uni dishes on their menu – uni being one of her favorites.
