For as long as I have been visiting Northern California, there has been a drought. I must have brought the rain, because this winter there has been a good amount of rain to bring some much needed moisture to the area. While there is still a lot more rain needed, it is nice to see so much green while driving through Marin County in Northern California.
This photo was taken just outside of the city of Petaluma, on the way to Point Reyes in March of 2015. While I’m not sure how long the green will last, it is beautiful to see all of this growth taking place. Much more inviting than the parched earth I saw on the same road back in August.
