Last Chance – Amex Rose Gold
Last month, American Express brought back the rose gold version of the Gold Card for a limited time. In order to apply for the rose gold version of the card, though, you need to apply via a referral link. The last day to do so, though, is tomorrow, July 17. So if you want the rose gold version of one of my favorite cards, apply now. And if you need a referral link, let me know and I’d be happy to provide you with one ?.
Last Chance – Peak Design Travel Tripod
If you like traveling with a tripod, you need to know about the Peak Design Travel Tripod. Why? Becaus it is one of the smallest, lightest, and most full-featured tripod in the world. Don’t believe me, well, here’s are the thing’s dimensions:
- 3.125 inches wide by 15.5 inches long packed
- maximum deployed height of 60 inches
- 20 pounds maximum weight capacity
- carbon fiber version weights 2.81 lbs, 3.44 lbs for the aluminum
To put its size into perspective, here’s how the Peak Design Travel Tripod looks packed.
Heck, the thing even easily fits in the water bottle holder of a Peak Design backpack.
The thing even comes with a ball head, a counterweight hook, and stowed phone mount.
Right now, Peak Design is running a Kickstarter for the Travel Tripod. Yeah, I know, but it’s how they fund all of their new product developments. Unlike most other Kickstarters, though, Peak Design always follows through and is usually on-time. So, if you’ve got the funds and want or need for something like this, check it out. You have until July 18 to back the project to receive a Peak Design Travel Tripod at a significant discount.
Last Chance – Amex Rose Gold, Final Thoughts
In case you’re wondering, no, I’m not receiving any discounts or compensation from Peak Design. I’m simply a big believer in their products. Heck, I have two of their backpacks, camera strap, clip, and sling. And all of their stuff is well-made, intuitive, and often makes handling my gear easier. As a result, I’m backing the Travel Tripod, especially since I kind of hate my current tripod, a Redged Travel Tripod that’s bulkier, holds less weight, has a lower maximum height, and weighs more, especially with my excellent Oben ball head attached.
As for the Amex Rose Gold Card, you all know that it’s one of my favorite cards. And, while the color doesn’t matter all that much, I do like the rose gold version more than the yellow gold. So if you’re still thinking about applying for this card and want the rose gold version, make sure to apply today!
