Beaches of Zephyr Cove in Lake Tahoe

February 25, 2015 by jeffsetter

Zephyr Cove Beach Lake Tahoe_

Lake Tahoe. A beautiful place where you can go skiing and hit up a beach on the same day. At least that is what I did as I learned to ski for the first time this winter. Turns out I’m a natural.

Kind of like the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. Once skiing wrapped up we drove down to catch the sunset on the lake. After googling locations, we ended up at Zephyr Cove on the Nevada side, just north of South Lake Tahoe. These weren’t like most beaches you will see, with mature pines and lots of vegetation. Of course, that is the appeal of Lake Tahoe!  The scene made for a beautiful sundown experience.
