After a brief stop in French Polynesia, the Jeffsetters headed to New Zealand. Obviously, we needed to checkout the New Zealand views and wineries (and Breweries), again…
This was our second visit to New Zealand.
Our first visit was back in 2011, when Mr. Jeffsetter proposed. (Good times.) You can check out our interactive map for our posts on our first trip to New Zealand.
This next series of posts will tell of our month long journey through the magical land that is New Zealand.
I hope you will enjoy our upcoming posts. We have it all hikes, wine, craft beers, camper vans, ferries, baby animals and hobbits. Yes, hobbits.
If you are interested in a specific topic on New Zealand, then feel free to leave a comment and I can see what we can do to help you out.

I’ve been waiting for this New Zealand series! The preview of upcoming posts lists many of my favorite things! :)
I’m particularly interested in hearing about scenic hikes, and which animals we’re likely to see during those hikes.

I think we can help you there. Although, just about every thing is scenic in NZ, and we really didn’t see many animals in the wild – birds, rabbits and on our first trip glow worms. I will have to dig up where that was, because we didn’t go on the “known glow worm tour” we saw them naturally.

I will be in Christchurch for 1 day and Queenstown for 5 days, any good activities for mature adults

We were in Queenstown for 5 days as well. I also like to think of myself as a mature adult, so there will definitely be some posts that should help you out. Some really great day trips from there. Are you renting a car?
Christchurch, we only did a drive through. I think they are still hurting a bit from the earthquake. We did receive, some recommendations from other people. I will include those in the post on Christchurch.
