Jeffsetter has been radio silent the past 7 days and for that I apologize. I shut the laptop down before we boarded our flight to Milan and didn’t pick it up for a solid 4 days. Since I only write posts on my laptop (not on the iPad), that meant no posts while I was in Milan.
I finally picked up my computer in the Milan departure lounge to download and organize the 600+ photos taken on the trip, and that organization lasted the majority of my time on the plane home. Once I arrived in the states it was a mad dash to accomplish the tasks I was procrastinating before Thanksgiving and those that piled on during my brief time abroad (plus a little jet lag sprinkled in). That leaves us here today, writing a quick post from my hotel in Washington, DC to let the world know that I’m alive.
Stay tuned for several posts on my Milan trip where I will show you two airport lounges that I have rarely seen reviewed online, flights in two international business class products (Alitalia and Delta), a review of the Park Hyatt in Milan and most importantly: Photos from the Milan Christmas Markets of 2013.
The above photo is a preview of what is to come. We timed our trip perfectly to see the Milan Christmas Markets being prepared on the day of our arrival (November 30th) and opened on our second day (December 1st). While these stands had a much more temporary feel than the markets I have visited in Prague and Vienna, it was what’s inside of them that made us happy.
Stay tuned for more posts about Christmas in Milan!
