Act quick! For a limited time, you can earn double HawaiianMiles when you travel between Hawaii and North America! As always, of course, certain restrictions apply.
How to Earn Double HawaiianMiles
This promotion has a very limited run. To earn double HawaiianMiles, you’ll need to book your flight by 11:59 pm HST on March 31, 2022. What’s more, you must travel on a Main Cabin fare between Hawaii and the continental U.S. and must travel within the specified dates:
- April 19 to May 25, 2022, excluding flights between Oakland, California (OAK) and Kona, Hawaii (KOA)
- August 15 to 31, 2022, excluding flights between Oakland, California (OAK) and Kona, Hawaii (KOA)
- June 15 to August 31, 2022, for flights between OAK and KOA
What’s more, this promotion won’t automatically apply to your reservation. Rather, you must log in to your HawaiianMiles account, search for your discounts page, and then apply this specific promotion before booking your flight.
Bonus miles earned via this promotion stack with your Pualani Elite bonus miles too. That is to say that Pualani Gold members earn standard miles + 100% bonus + 50% bonus, while Pualani Platinum members earn standard miles + 100% bonus + 100% bonus.
Unfortunately, these bonus miles do not count towards Pualani Elite status – you only earn bonus redeemable miles. What’s more, you can’t earn bonus miles for flying first class, and it doesn’t look like Basic fares qualify. And, again, this promotion only qualifies for flights between Hawaii and the continental U.S. – inter-island and international flights don’t count!
Final Thoughts
For all you HawaiianMiles diehards out there, this is a great offer – even with the limited travel dates and other restrictions. This could be especially lucrative for those flying to the East Coast. Honolulu to Boston is over 5,000 miles, meaning you could earn 20,000 miles on one roundtrip flight! That’s halfway to a standard HawaiianMiles Main Cabin award flight between Hawaii and the West Coast. For all you Pualani Platinum members out there, you’d net about 30,000 miles for flying roundtrip between Honolulu and Boston during this promotion – just 5,000 miles shy of that West Coast award ticket.
