At first I wasn't impressed with Hawai'i volcanoes national park. We paid an entry fee and drove to an active volcano viewing area. A Piedmontese Sunset (and Moonrise) in Treiso, Italy
I sure loved our time in Italy. My only complaint was the quality and consistency of the Internet. But that is pretty much my feedback from everywhere that is not 1 Gigabit Internet in San Francisco. View from the 122nd Floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai
While I'm still not sure how I feel about Dubai, I did enjoy high tea at At.Mosphere restaurant in the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa. The views are pretty nice, but the haze around Dubai limited visibility. With the glare coming into the windows, photo options were limited. Aerial View of the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia
New Caledonia is already an "out of the way" destination, but adding Isle of Pines on top of it? You will need to add travel day on each side of your trip.
