Today is a travel day, so I am going to make the post entirely visual. Here are a few photos taken over the weekend on Waiheke Island in New Zealand. Actually, all pictures were taken within about 3 minutes of each other from the same vantage point on the island. It’s always amazing how a slightly different angle, or a photo crop can impact the mood of the picture.
Waiheke Island is an absolute delight. With 40+ wineries on an island of only 90 sq Kilometers, you get great views mixed with agriculture. These shots were taken of rolling hills where sheep were grazing.
I have about a thousand pictures to work through from the island, but these are my immediate favorites. With a little more processing, I think they will be print worthy. You may recognize one of these photos as the cover to yesterday’s post as well. I try to use my own photos whenever possible in posts.
Let me know if you’d like any of these for your own art collection!
