Last week I published a post on International Business class and there were some good comments and discussions on that post. One camp fell into the boat of that it's absolutely "worth it" to go business class every time and the others were saying that it's not always practical to fly business class. Since the discussion was so lively I figured it would be a great source for … [Read more...] about Monday Poll: Are International Business Class Tickets Worth the Wait?

Friday Photo: Sand Sculptures in Viña Del Mar, Chile
When I visited Chile in 2010, I randomly ended up in a town called Viña Del Mar for a night. While I didn't know much about the town, I knew that it was on the beach. I also know that when I visit a city that has a beach, I need to get to the water as quickly as possible. By the time I made it down to the Pacific Ocean beaches, I wasn't sure what to expect. I love the wifi on domestic flights and how easy it is to earn elite status. I love the upgrade I often … [Read more...] about Delta Business Class With Lie Flat Seats and Westin Heavenly Bedding

Our travel plans had us staying three nights in Christchurch, so we needed to be diverted away from the city in order to have a place to stay (our original hotel was not operational). This unfortunate tragedy brought us to a hotel near the Franz … [Read more...] about Friday Photo: Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand (via Helicopter)
Using Delta Gift Certificates to Meet Minimum Credit Card Spend Requirements
In early May, 2013, Delta announced that they would be selling Delta gift certificates on their website (or as they call them, eGift certificates). While this may be known to a few people, it doesn't seem that Delta has been doing a very good job of promoting this new feature, and it's not particularly easy to find on their website. I even had a hard time finding the site again … [Read more...] about Using Delta Gift Certificates to Meet Minimum Credit Card Spend Requirements
