Salt Lake City is a Delta hub, so I wanted to check out their Sky Club there to compare it to the Honolulu one. And, I ended up having a ton of time at SLC, so I did get to spend time in the Delta Sky Club Salt Lake City.
My last Utah Trip Report post was about what I ate in Salt Lake City. But, I purposely left out one of my dining spots. Why? Because Fat Jacks Burger Emporium is my favorite Salt Lake City restaurant.
Admittedly, there’s nowhere I wanted to eat in Salt Lake City, so finding someplace to eat at was a challenge. And thanks to various reasons, my reporting isn’t so great. So here’s where I ate in Salt Lake City all at once.
On my final day in Utah, I took advantage of the fact that my conference sessions took up only half the day and headed out to the Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway.
On my second day in Utah, I had the morning half of the day free. So, I took some time to visit some friends at work out in Lehi. And, while there, they recommended I check out Provo Canyon, which I did.
I love cars and aircraft, but those that have known me for a long time know, my first mechanical love was trains. Specifically, I loved and still do love steam trains. So when I was told I was going to Northern Utah, I immediately thought of the Golden Spike National Historic Site.
