If you could make a hobby out of tracking Elephants, I think that it would replace travel hacking as my preferred way to spend my time outside of work. I would start an elephant tracking hacking blog and write tips about how to find elephants faster, share how to get free safaris and even join a network of fellow elephant bloggers. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening … [Read more...] about Tracking a Herd of Elephants – South Africa Safari Part 3

Ascending Table Mountain, Seal Colonies and Penguins Around Cape Town
In addition to Robben island, there is a lot to see in the area surrounding Cape Town. Immediately after we got off the Robben Island ferry, we hopped in a taxi to take a ride to the Table mountain gondola. On our way I stopped at a camera shop to pick up two extra batteries for my DJI Phantom Quad Copter, which only took a few minutes to complete. Four Seasons Tanzania Resort – Luxury on the Serengeti National Park
I signed up for the email list for the Four Seasons after staying at the Four Seasons Mauritius earlier this year and I must say that their approach to email is interesting. They don't ever run discounts, which makes sense as a luxury brand trying to keep a luxurious status. They do, however, highlight their beautiful destinations and make me want to visit them each time I open … [Read more...] about Four Seasons Tanzania Resort – Luxury on the Serengeti National Park

KLM Flights to Africa "on sale" (but not really) KLM sent a targeted email to Flying Blue Members announcing several last minute fair specials to several African destinations for travel originating in the US.
